Welcome to my world! I am Anath, Annetanith, or Tanith. These are my names in the spiritual world. I would like to talk a little about myself so that you all can get to know me a little bit better. I began my journey as a pathfinder when I was a little girl. I started by reading an encyclopedia of the Bible when I was little and this action ignited my curiosity for topics in this area. I bothered priests, pastors, my mom and my teachers with lots of questions that they did not know how to answer. My endless curiosity has guided me through the entangled world of spirituality and by following this instinct I have discovered that perceptions in the spiritual world are clouded by the veil of culture and upbringing. This is a very interesting fact, not negative or positive, just a fact we have to keep in mind before trying to judge the beliefs other people may have. That is why I love to talk with people from different cultures and listen to what they have to say about their spiritual beliefs. I believe that each person adds up to my spiritual growth and enlightens my knowledge. My spiritual beliefs have evolved since I was a child. I understood many things through ny journey. Although I am still making my own spiritual path, right now I am a solitary practitioner of Wicca. I also study Shamanism with a wonderful group of friends. On my own I study metaphysics. I am just a humble seeker, looking for answers, looking for the light, for the source of energy that keeps us all living in this giant organism that we call Earth.
What Dreams May Come, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Corpse Bride, In Her Shoes, The Secret Garden, Little Princess, The Sixth Sense, The Others, Amélie, The Notebook, House of Flying Daggers, House of Spirits, Under the Tuscan Sun, Como Agua para Chocolate, and many, many others that I do not remember right now...
Rock, Latin music, New Age, Classic, Native American, Celt, Arabian and African.
Although I do not have a lot of time to watch TV, I do like many shows: Will and Grace, Frasier, Rome, The Tudors, any program at Discovery channel, Science channel or Animal Planet...
There are many books I have read... Many are of spiritual topics (shamanism, wicca, metaphysics, herbalism, Buddhism, etc) others are just for fun. I like books written by Anne Rice, James Reese, Isabel Allende, Gabriel García Márquez, Julia Álvarez and Nicholas Sparks. I also read Classic books from Nathaniel Hawthorne, Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens and many others. I love children's literature too. My favorite authors are Eric Carle, Leo Lionni, Margaret Wise Brown, Beatrix Potter, J. K. Rowling, Keiko Kasza, Marcus Pfister and many others.
