About
Based in Singapore, aspidistrafly is the music project of April Lee (b.1984) and Ricks Ang (b.1980) . Outside of their musical activites, they work actively in the domain of design and interactive media as Kitchen. , an imprint which is also synonymous with the artworks they produce for aspidistrafly.
They released "THE GHOST OF THINGS", a handmade accordion photobook + 4 track EP in 2004. In 2006, they have participated in some compilations released worldwide on labels such as 9.12 (Canada) and mu-nest (Malaysia). aspidistrafly has also contributed materials to the media arts scene, most notably on "Drift Net", curated by Singapore-based performance company TheatreWorks.
aspidistrafly is currently recording their first full length CD entitled 'i hold a wish for you' which is scheduled for release at the end of 2007.
