And I wonder sometimes strangely if You can even hear me
Or am I shouting at white-glazed walls that can never set me free?
Is there number I could call where You would pick up the phone
But even if I called I wonder would You even be at home?

And I can't stop myself
From asking the questions that haunt my mind like nothing else
And if You are listening now
Do You hear my prayers?

I'd sure like to know how You hear all of our voices
Shouting, wailing, crying, praising, how do You make your choices?
Do You have a million ears and a billion people taking notes or
Do You have a million years outside time to listen one by one?

Well this morning I was sitting on the floor in my room
I was talking to the white walls, was I even getting through, was I getting through?
And then You whispered one word of love
Deep in my soul and that word made me whole, You made me whole

And I can't stop myself
From praising the one who listens to my prayers
And yes many questions still remain
Do You laugh? Do You cry? Why do You love so much?
