honestly, music is a distraction from the world we live in.
notes effect us like a swarm of up and down emotions,
relax and tension. expectations are walls, & patterns
burn themselves into your mind, which is desired by
both the producers and consumers of music in bulk.
a sequence of emotion, hard-wired into your mind..
is that art?
i do still enjoy music, but its not all the same.

intellectual property & music - is retarded. stfu. rec
labels, writers & composer unions (i mean 'scams'),
etc, legal anything, redtape anywhere
= bullshit.
A. people buy YOUR music because?
- they like the music &
a. thus wish to pay respect to You
b. don't like You, but like your music - want it to
continue in production (fk you, make tracks)
B. an Artist is Compelled to make art because?
- he/she had no other means of income? FAILHARDER=FAILFAIL
- he/she is loves the art? .. !
[real simple] if you're an artist = you make art. this is outside
the realm of economics. IP may be protected by Silence and
non-distribution. theft of unshared data or materials is violation
of physical property, not intellectual.
music is supported by those who value it, and possibly think it is
a good direction for music to stretch its existence into.
distribution of music at an extremely low cost by small coalitions of
like-type or like-caliber music could operate without enforcement
of IP - and rely on high volume of true appreciation. since music
(for instance) is allowed to flow freely (without threats of law)
a larger number of listeners are likely to come in contact and either
reject or accept this product as Them. the more Them they feel it
is, the more likely they are to donate to its cause or pay for a live
performance when it comes their way.
furthermore, a somewhat popular artist could propose a project
that they wish to complete with regards to lack of funding, and
if equal desire/curiosity/support to the projects requirements
exist, then who needs what? bjork could prolly still make
really expensive weird movies that suck until they end... at which
point the memory of them is always more fond. id put a few bones
down on the production, but just a few ($2-5).
