With the school year coming to a closing (less than two HALF days! So, thus, the equivalent of one school day..!! Cue moment where I attempt a try at air guitar without looking overly n00b), exams are the premise of our last days of school. These said exams should cover the material that was covered in the semester, correct? Or, in the very least, connect to the subject in one or another? Am I right? Well, my school district tells me otherwise.

With living in the desert, there are always people who reject the idea of dwelling in the hot, dry landscape that is the desert. There are those who just go "UGH, NEVADA" to the mildest degree and those who just want to banish themselves from this god forsaken place and reappear in a beach in Maui. To be honest, amidst of all this negativity put towards living in this barren environment, I almost got caught up in it all. Just almost.

Okay, I'm not a 40-year old prison inmate who, for the past 7 years now, after being charged for jaywalking across a deserted road, has been chiseling at the bars my cell with the surplus of dental floss provided by the staff. I know I've let so many random people stumbling upon this down by mentioning such a heinous thing. Although... I do role play.

Theroms & Postulates

Geometry homework makes me wet my pants with pure, exhilarating, PASSIONATE joy.
It's not like memorizing theroms and postulates out of an outdated geometry book is going to benefit me in my career WHATSOEVER. It's like studying for and English degree when you really want to be a chiropractor. It's like remembering biology terms for a driver's license test. It's like remembering to wear underwear when a hooker. Utterly useless. I don't understand how memorizing the qualities of a rhombus is going to get me anywhere. Other than, say, an A in the class, but that's completely beside the point.
