"Aching, elegant indie-folk that echoes early Rufus Wainwright with its crawling pace and Manuel's glassy, slurred vocals. Musically, "Time" has a cool sort of understated sophistication -- it's based around intricate variations of just two chords," says Dave Paulson of the Nashville Rage in reference to Austin Manuel's song, "Time Waits On No Man."
"Time Waits On No Man" is the first track of six original songs on Austin Manuel's debut ep, Blanket Of Stars, which was released in August 2007.
I, Austin Manuel, was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee where I drink my coffee, write my songs, eat, sleep, breathe, think, dream, listen, play, and fly today. I play music. I have a band. I call them Justice For All. But you may know them as Hailee, Noah, Scott, Mike, and Robert as well as some other names who have come and gone and still might come and go as time goes on. I play most of my shows with my band. I write most of my songs by myself. And I wear a feather in my head.
