About

-With a name like Tianna, it's safe to assume that I have a perspective that's of a slightly different caliber. For instance, "esoteric" is my favorite word and I can never eat less than 8 Oreo cookies in one sitting.

-As a child I used to sift through boxes upon boxes of old photographs that my mother had acquired over the years. Each photograph became a memory reinstalled, and I quickly knew them all by heart, piecing together my forgotten history. So picking up photography as a hobby was like second nature to me. And as time passes I have come to realize that I seek the majestic and unnoticed moments in life where one's eye lingers unknowingly, if only to capture the image and somehow pay homage to both its existence and our own. Or at least that's what I try to do.

-Beginning my nomadic addiction, I've lived in Boston, Cambridge, the Netherlands, and most recently Los Angeles. Traveling is what I live for these days as I hope to open my mind to all different walks of life.

-A recent Emerson College graduate, I am now in the sobering yet brutally enlightening stage of finding a job. For the time being, I do freelance photography and am seriously considering grad school in environmental science.
