About
Eric Barnett is an ambient / experimental guitarist from Galion, OH. For the past ten years, he has played many different styles of music in many different bands. In December 2007, upon wanting to explore the territory that lies on the outskirts of musical style and genre, he started this project. Eric records in his home studio, using the looping and layering of various instruments to create soundscapes and textures. Live, he uses multiple looping pedals and extended techniques on guitar in an attempt to not only replicate those recordings, but to improvise upon them. His influences include Tom Waits, collections of colonies of bees, Sigur Ros, the Album Leaf, and Mogwai.
