So we are facing some pretty interesting times here in the USA.
Political plays float on a sea of national concern over the tide of the economy.
A surge of social unrest floods the senses of our collective consciousness,
urging us to either go with the flow or stride with the current for change!
This month I'm finally able to share a concept that I've been exploring for seven years.
I see our electronic music community as being comprised of many tribes,
and the individuals of these tribes have a particulalry affinity for music that resonates with the vibration of their tribe, with each tribe and musical style having a correspondant element as follows:
Drum N Bass - Fire Element
Breakbeats - Water Element
Trance/Progressive House - Air Element
Funky/Deep/Chicago/San Francisco House - Earth Element
This week's show is my interpretation of the shifting universal energies I feel at a soul level in Mizu Jutsu, Water Style electronica, ala emotive, syncopated, ebb and flow of beats and bass that we know as Breaks...
