As mentioned in the past; previous blog post ... was planning on moving when my lease was up at the old place. Got the place I wanted & took a few pics of it before moving my junk in:

Of course, over the next 6-9 months, I'll be buying all that new furniture I mentioned in the previously related blog. I'll take pics here and there as I obtain new furnishing items ;).

I'm loving it so far though. Although this past week was absolute HELL moving my stuff. It wasn't TOO hot temperature wise, but it was very humid. Can't stand being all sweaty and sticky all day long practically heh. Feel like a soggy dirty sock or something. I have the kitchen at least organized and things put away, dining room is somewhat set, livingroom still needs to be organized, as well as my bedroom and office. Next few weeks will be oh so fun going through boxes upon boxes of junk I've accumulated over the past decade haha. I had old magazines even from 1995 til present. I am such a packrat... bad habit I guess.

Only met a few of my neighbors so far... a couple old ladies living on disability and/or social security from what I gathered haha. And I did hold the door open for a hot lil brunette... but I think she lives in the building with her boyfriend/husband; whom I chatted with for a couple minutes. They seem nice though from brief neighborly banter heh. It's a LOT quieter around here too in comparison to my old place. No more dealing with listening to EVERY single step/movement of an upstairs neighbor, and I don't hear anything from the neighbor below me. Much nicer building and surroundings. Although, I can imagine during the school year.. I'll hear a lot of teenagers outside since I am directly across the street from a middle school AND a high school; the one I graduated from in fact heh. I don't think it'll be bad at all though.

Next up at the end of the month: order a new desk. Getting the Galant style desk setup. I did a mockup in Google SketchUp of what I hope to have for my office/studio layout:
