After recent news & the approval from my credit card's auto financing division, I am now in preparation to buy a NEW car wheeeeeee :D. Although it may be a few months; need to sort out some things with my license and insurance, but once that's all taken care of... it's car shopping time ;).
After doing some research and comparisons, I've finally chosen the car I want to buy. Firstly, I'm more of the truck/van/SUV type of person... I just prefer the room they offer over cars and the versatility of various usage of them. So I'm going with an SUV; actually I guess you'd call it a mid-size SUV since it isn't large in size when compared to the common SUV's out there today. I debated between a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT Sport and a 2007 Chevrolet HHR LT2. I decided to go with the choice of the Caliber; sleaker appearance, nice variety of inticing features & options, and slightly better MPG than the HHR.
My auto financing is set for a range between $7500 min. on up to $23,000 max. I'm lucky just to get that due to some bad credit on my credit history; NEVER going to cosign a loan with family members or friends ever again; it ended up going past the pay-off date due to certain family members not living up to their agreements grrrrrrrrrrr. So not only will this new car venture provide me with a new car that I can rely on and not resort to buying some cheap beater mobile, but it'll also help rebuild my credit.
A few pics of the vehicle I will be buying:

I'm gonna get the Sunburst Orange Pearl paintjob on it. I think it looks good in orange ;)

I'm anxious & stoked to get this now heh. It'll definitely be a nice change from the old beater vehicles I usually buy for $500-1500 usually; which last on average 3-4 yrs it seems. Hoping to have this by mid-late summer then roughly. Perfect timing too heh.
