Just your run of the mill sporty geek girl. Okay...so that sounds somewhat contradictory. How can you be sporty and geeky???

Well...I love sports. Football, softball, rugby, volleyball, hiking...the list goes on. I am a football junkie. I spend my Sundays during the season watching my Cincinnati Bengals no matter how bad (or good) they are. I love playing it too. I mean...what else would cause a girl to join a rugby club (Emerald City Mudhens...www.mudhenrugby.com) if she could not afford to play women's pro football (it costs $1k to play on the Seattle Majestics). Of course I play softball from Feb thru Sept. My team, the Seattle Diamonds (www.emeraldcitysoftball.com) has had a fair amount of success...but we are still chasing our chance to go to the Softball World Series. When it is not raining here in Seattle (about 3 days a year) I am hiking the Cascade Mountains or doing something else that is outdoorsy. Let's face it...this part of the world is heaven on earth and I want to enjoy as much of it as possible by being outdoors.

And then there is the geek in me. I love playing video games (when the sun goes down) and I love Sci-Fi (Battlestar Gallactica anyone?) tv shows. For reading material I shop almost exclusively in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section. I love all kindsof board games. Heck...I have even been known to partake in an occasional RPG.

The real bottom line is I am a social butterfly. I like things that involve being with people...especially my friends.

So...that's me in a nutshell.
