Life is all about transitions for aspiring musician Ben Rothermel. Starting his studies at the age of nine, Ben was forced to study violin for school credits. Eleven years, one music degree, and a guitar later, Ben is passionately pursing music as a career.
Currently performing shows around the PA and Maryland area, Ben spends most of his time writing new songs and enjoying life to the fullest. He is constantly building a vast array of sounds and musical skills that he hopes to culminate in a 2010 record release.
While growing up in York, PA Ben was active with his band noredtape. Noredtape performed numerous shows at local coffeehouses and battles of the bands over a two and a half year stretch. In the early spring of 2008 noredtape released a self produced EP entitled, Eyes Wide Open. The EP was a huge hit within their small community and over 150 units were sold. The band split up when Ben left for college in Memphis, TN. At the peek of their career, noredtape was touring as far away as Philadelphia, PA.
Always looking forward and hoping for the best, Ben is working hard and strengthening every aspect of his music. No matter what the future holds, Ben will always find himself writing music and expressing himself through sounds and words. He is constantly pushing himself to step out for the sake of what he loves - music and song.

So great to meet you last week! Checking out your music at this moment... LOVE the variety! I'll probably have "My Pancake, My Love" stuck in my head for quite some time. Also, your voice is right on track with what's happening in music right now. Excited to see what doors God opens for you with this! Woohooo!!!
