These haikus were written by me during particularly grueling lectures in thermal and statistical physics. Some things you need to know for full enjoyment:

1. My friend Carolyne Pickler is in geophysics, and hence learns about rocks.
2. My "professor" (actually a post-doc) is named Vasile Topor Pop (no joke) and his grasp of the English language is truly breathtaking to behold. Thus, whenever you read something that makes very little sense, it is simply me assuming the role of this wonder of a man. My favorite nuance of his speech is how he subtly replaces adjectives, e.g. "scared" by "scary." He also has a snazzy pair of Reeboks.
3. One of the guys in the class always drinks three apple juice boxes, then lines them up in single file.
