bioassay was created in April of 2008 by Mauricio, aka ::analogue:: (and formerly dj shad0wdancer), as a creative experiment drawing influences from various bands in the Electronic, Industrial, EBM/TBM, Synthpop and Futurepop genres.

bioassay is honoured to have «silence» included on disc one of the Das Bunker IV compilation titled «Brighter than a Thousand Suns».

bioassay is honoured to have an edit of «silence» on the new Connexion Bizarre «You Are Here - A Compilation of California Electronics vol.1» compilation.

bioassay was artist of the week on Normality radio online the week of the 1st of December 2008.
