About
Bitterly Ironic is Ant Hickman's solo electronica act based in Manchester. The act has toured and gigged heavily over 2006 and 2007 supporting acts such as Dragonette, Rochelle, Dolby Anol, I Was A Cub Scout, The Glamour Soundsystem, Heads We Dance, Modernaire and Performance to name a few! Also live appearances at "Sounds From The Other City" festival on the Contort Yourself stage and at "Burnt To The Ground" festival.
Currently finishing a collection of new material, the new songs will be ready for release in August 2007 but with a planned debut single launch late 2007/early 2008. With gigs lined up in 2007 supporting Heads We Dance, Ra Ra Riot and a confirmed slot at the Manchester "In The City" festival...Creating some good hype right now, things look very positive for Bitterly Ironic."
