Emanuele a.k.a. Bless, dj and producer, was born in Cesena (Italy) in 1984. The passion for djing began when he turned 14 and soon after, that lead to the production of hip hop beats alongside lyrics. A couple years later, he formed the first group with his friends, that showcased jams with other local crews. They was active in the scene for few years and this is when his passion for electronic music grew inside him. He found to have a particular interest in dnb in 1999, thus started producing as well as buying records. In addition to that, he began a partnership with a cross-over band named Whispered Me. This partnership has the idea of upgrading their sound with the fusion of rock with dub beats, scratching and filtering effects. In 2004 he gave birth to Sewasidecollective project with Code2 and Plastix, cooperating in production and proposing new sounds in their little city, but after a year of collaboration he decide to move on with his solo project. In February 2005 we found him with a rollin-dubby tune called "Mount Zion", released on the compilation "Italian Bassline 3" by Afun Recordings. Few months later he formed the Zion Legacy's duo with his friend Massi Gee, that is the dj resident at the Thermos Club in Ancona since 1998 and he's the founder of Hydra Crew. He's activity is based on djing, producing and promotion. He has numerous presence in the Italian club of the scene, like Leoncavallo, ex-Mud,Maffia... and also European, like Trifelife in Vienna and Belgium. The Duo Zion legacy has in common the passion for Music in its different styles from techno to reggae music, but particulary in drumnbass they love at most the dark atmospheres and the techy sounding riffs, besides the sunny melodies and the rollin beats: sun and moon, night and day, from Neurofunk to LiquidFunk. This Combination was the winner of "The Ring", the dj contest between most of the active dnb crew in italy, that took place at Ca.Cu.Bo. in Bologna. This leads at end of the summer when they played at Musica D'Alta Quota, an international music festival organized in Capo d'Orlando, Sicily, opening for Black Sun Empire. Bless was also on the homonym compilation MDAQ, with "Closer", tune selected for the drumnbass section in the production contest of this festival. Since then the duo is still active playing around ,but they booth also have their projects: during the last year Bless opened the dancefloor for artists like Corrupt Souls and Submerged. He's also involved in the artistic direction of Bit Booking Agency, started by dj Trifo and Trip, promoting national-international artist and events. Recently he started some other collaboration with Musicaoltranza.net as a reporter for events, nights and interwievs and with Mp3o.eu, an internet music shop, being responsible for scouting hip hop and dnb labels/artists. He's going out from his country starting from Prague in the next months, with a full schedule till the end of year in the Italy area.. off-course he plays also in his hometown, Cesena, where he started in late summer 2006 promoting nights and parties at "Magazzino Parallelo", not a proper club, but the only place that donate space to new movements in his little town, that gave him also an input to restart his activity as an mc on the hip hop side, with known and new figure of the local scene, merging punk-rock concerts with hip hop and reggae showcases, and dj sets of all-kinds.During this years he has improved his interest in promoting music alongside djing and music production: Drumnbass, Jungle, Hip Hop beats, Electronic, Minimal, Techno..as he likes the music in its multiple styles, playing in many part of Italy since 2004, like Link and Estragon in Bologna, Pergola in Milan, Thermos Club in Ancona, Alibi in Rome but also in cities like Pordenone, Piacenza, Perugia, Macerata, San Benedetto del Tronto, Messina, Palermo, Rimini... Now let's see what 2007 holds for him.
