Blue Bell Records is a music label in beautiful midtown Sacramento, California in the USA. We don't really see Governor Ahhhhnold ("The Terminator") strolling the Sacramento streets as often as we'd like to, but we do spot that big 'ol Hummer he drives often.

The girl who started the label was once a lead supervisor for the customer service department at Tower.com HQ (R.I.P. Tower Records) in Sacramento, CA, then left to do a very meaningful two year stint at Darla Records. After that, she thought, "Cripes. I need to start a little record label!" She asked some of her favorite artists from all around the world like Figurine, Marumari, Lullatone, hollAnd, and 808 State if they'd be interested in contributing an exclusive song to her first cd compilation. To her surprise, those artists and many others obliged, and so it began.

One may describe the music we release for your ears as fun, melodic, electronic, indie, pop, pretty, new wave, synthy, idm, dreamy, and a bunch of other words people use to put music into categories. But one thing it will always be is good, clean, FUN.

Our first release in 2004 was a compilation called "V/A - Hear You Soon : Part One" containing exclusive songs from some of our favorite artists: Figurine, 808 State, Marumari, Freescha, Blue Ribbon, Sybarite, Tycho, HollAnd, Lullatone, and a lot more. Our second release in 2005 is from four awesome guys from Providence, Rhode Island, Blue Ribbon, and is filled with gorgeous synth melodies and sexy vocals (yes, sexy).

Our third and NEWEST release (11.06.07) from Provo, Utah's OK Ikumi is available right NOW. Think: DNTEL, Figurine, good old fashioned pop music with keyboards, beats, and sexy vocals galore. A long awaited full length album from New York's Marumari is also in the works.

All of our releases are mastered by Trevor Kampmann, also known in the music world as hollAnd from Teenbeat Records, at Analogous Digital Studios in Washington, D.C.
