Boot Camp

Woohoo! Just installed Boot Camp on my MacBook and used a copy of XP from my brother's PC. Tis handy for playing Guild Wars with Lyssa, but I have to say it was heartbreaking to see a windows installing screen on a MacBook screen. XD I'mma getting lazy now so I'll stop typing and go back to Guild Wars which has, hopefully, loaded.

AS Results

Got my first AS level results today. I sat an exam in every subject I am taking (Media Studies, English Language, English Literature, History) and went into school with the rest of year 12 and 13 to find out if I get to go back to school after the holidays or not. XP As it happens, I do get to go back. :D I was worrying in the car because I thought I was going to fail English Language, but I managed to scrape a pass. Here are the results: Media Studies - B English Language - D (2 Marks off a C though) English Literature - C History - C As we needed a D in each subject to pass, and at least 3 passes to continue studying, I am quite pleased with my results. I'm going to retake English Language though to hopefully get a couple more marks to push the grade over the C boundary. I also hear Ben and Lyssa did quite well, and from the mass of people talking I heard that Matt got an A in sociology I think.. Till next time...

New Things are fun!

This has been a very interesting and fun weekend for me. :] On Friday evening I got home to find out that my MacBook had been delivered, which prompted much *squee*-ing and quick unwrapping of packaging. I then proceeded to spend nearly all of Friday night not trying out my Mac, but installing World of Warcraft, XD. End of Saturday comes and I've tried out most things, and still learning things, mostly from Ben who, despite not owning a Mac, seems to have researched an awful lot into what features they have and is a valuable source if I need to know how to do something in OS X. Ben also invited me to Virb, which you'll know if you're reading this, lol, and I made a hideous purple layout, which was soon replaced to, I hope, Ben's approval.
