the content of this video sequence was recorded, in pittsburg, at the james turrell exhibit at the mattress factory in 2002. it was one of the most rewarding exhibits i have seen in many years. it was made even more exciting in that i had the opportunity to speak with james turrell at a barnett newman symposium in philadelphia a couple months prior.
