Hello everyone. Or I guess all 5 of you who actually check in on my San Francisco adventures. I have been out of commission for about three days because of a wonderful flu bug that has knocked me on my bum. I have been dealing with 101 temperatures and a sore head. Finally, today has given me a little more energy. Still have a mild fever, but am starting to feel better overall.
Last weekend was a great celebration. For my birthday Kenny (along with our good friends Lindsay and Joe) took me to a great restaurant in North Beach called Trattoria Cantodina. This great place has some of the best food. The meal was delicious. After the great food. We headed around the corner to begin our bar crawl. Starting at an irish pub for a quick drink. Then we went and visited the famous Vesuvio. This place had great character with very tasty drinks. After our drinks, Joe had the best idea to head over to another bar called Butter. This bar is fantastic. It has a great 1950s these where they use tang and cool-aid for their mixed drinks and wrap their beer bottles in a paper bag. We walked into this place and they were blasting a great mix of my favorite 80s music. We got drinks and danced the night away.
Needless to say, it was an excellent birthday.
