The HYN band will also be appearing with State Radio, for an MTV screening party/concert at the Bowery Ballroom, Monday, February 16th, 2009. (Check out the video below - me and Lucas rocking out with State Radio at Toad's Place, New Haven, 4/24/08.)

It's been a busy fall and winter, going to classes at the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven three nights a week, doing a bit of recording (see the new pix from my friend Tori's session at Studio B, Berklee College of Music a few weeks ago) and when I'm lucky enough to get out to Bill's Seafood on a Thursday night, sitting in on a few songs with Johnny Russell's Big Easy Trio, (featuring Paul Boehmke on clarinet and sax, Jan Frankel on keyboard, and Johnny on drums and harmonica).
