His recorded tracks are complimented by a range of cabaret jazz-bar solo shows to garage rock full band performances with members heralding from across the UNSW campus.
RRR Sydney reviewed the EP as “Fluid, lyrical poetry” making comparisons to Missy Higgins and Leonard Cohen. RRR gave Brendan his first air play Dec ‘06.
Early 2007 saw Brendan’s music enjoying a lengthy run in Triple J’s Unearthed holding a place in the top 15 for over a month. He also broadcasts through the ever popular www.myspace.com/brendanmaclean to a growing fan base.
