So I've been waiting until I had something somewhat interesting to write about before posting to my blog on Virb. I think I've got something worthy... I hope you enjoy it. T.K. Scott is a musician who created a profile on PureVolume. You should check out his profile real quick before reading on.

Stat tracking on one of his songs was messed up on PureVolume and through the support correspondence in trying to resolve his issue, he sent this following message:

"Upgrade to Pro my fuckin ass. Im about to cancel this piece of shit and go to MySpace if you dont get it right. You suck, that damn song hasn't shown any stats for the 5 months it's been posted. Thank you for your fuckin support."

My response to this most recent message follows:

"T.K.,

As a small, self-funded business, we're continually striving to allocate our resources in ways which will best improve our free service. Unfortunately not every improvement or bug fix can happen at the same time. We recognize the stat tracking problem, and we apologize that while it is high on our list of priorities, we've yet to finally squash the issue.

We appreciate your professional feedback, as it is certainly necessary in bettering our free hosting and promotional offering.

As a site devoted to helping rising musicians create a fan-base and gain popularity, we would hate to see you miss the buzz surrounding this revitalization of reunited 80's rock bands in southeastern Michigan.

We will be addressing the issue at the beginning of next week and it should be solved shortly. PureVolume is not exclusive, so if you would like to join any number of other promotional sites, including those owned by major media conglomerates, you are free to do so. Also, we'd be happy to remove your profile on PureVolume if you believe it will help your career in music.
