Since the age of 15 Brian Bethke has been playing in clubs and bars showcasing his songwriting ability. Through out high school and beyond he played weekends for extra cash and to scratch musical itch. In 2005 Brian suddenly came down with chronic pain, migraines and the many other symptoms of what was later on diagnosed as fibromyalgia. With no job and lost hope Brian became full time stay at home dad While touring Midwest coffee houses and bars on weekends. Using the music as a way to work through the feeling of hopelessness and adjust to the new life living with chronic pain. By 2007 the Brian Bethke Band landed airplay and a spot on Maverick medias 999 the carp "LOUD AND LOCAL TOUR" followed up by two tracks release on the "Loud and Local rock of the northwoods" CD. In May of 2008 The Brian Bethke Band released "The glass album" with his trusty Empathy Records label. This release began to push Brian out of the localized Eau Claire music scene in to a much more global market selling Cds and MP3s worldwide on cdbaby.com, Apple iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic and Best Buy. As 2009 rears it's head Brian Plans to release the full album "Auburdeen" and head out on what he has been calling the "Southern folk tour" In June 2009.
