I watched the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. There were some awful commercials starring the CEO of Pacific Life. He couldn't have looked more stiff & uncomfortable. You could see him thinking things like, "Now I should move my hands..." It was painfully bad.
I'm taking a guess here, but I think that this embarrassing commercial happened for 2 reasons:
1. He didn't ask for honest input.
2. No one could tell him it stunk. They probably lied & told him it was great.
