Yesterday was busy. Really busy. My day started early, was spent rushing to get ready for a lesson and our Chicago trip, and I had a meeting and counseling appointment sandwiched in between. We had a great discussion with a visiting friend until 1:00am, so this morning came quick. I finished preparing for the Chicago trip a little after noon and I've been home ever since. It's been great to spend three hours being still, talking & praying with Beth, keeping a fire going, and taking a little nap.
I think I find life in these moments. I hear God a little more clearly. I think about others more compassionately. And I gain focus.
The boys will be home in a few minutes, so I gotta get my play-time on.
