Cole and I are going camping this weekend. I can't wait for the time the two of us will spend together. But I'm not exactly like Bear (the survivor guy on Discovery Channel).
It's funny because I spent tons of time as a kid in the woods. I fished, camped-out, hiked etc., But as an adult I've done a lot less of that. I still love to hike, but we haven't fished or camped-out much. We are more apt to go on bike rides. So it's always a bit of an adventure to do things like this. In a few hours I'll be trying to remember how to get a worm on the hook so it looks appetizing to the fish, but so that it doesn't fall off. Funny how I tend to forget these things.
Luckily, Cole will have fun regardless. We'll do plenty of hiking, playing catch and roasting marshmellos. I'm pretty good at those things. And we get to sleep in a little cabin (for free). I'm a fan of Not setting-up tents. A cold front moved out of the area, so it should be beautiful this weekend.
