I was asked to do something today. It would have been a decent thing to do. It would have helped someone out. But it would have directly kept me from doing some other things.

It's always tough for me to say no to people. But it is getting a little bit easier. I'm gaining some focus in my life (at least in some areas). But allotting my time is something I'm always going to have to keep evaluating.

What's helped me the most is to accept the fact that for everything I say "yes" to, I am saying "no" to something else. Sometimes that's fine, but it takes some reflection.

When was the last time you evaluated how you evaluate your time? Is time with your family a priority? Is helping people a priority? Is time with God a priority?
