When people ask me if it has flown by, I say, "kinda." In some ways it has flown by, but it's also hard for me to remember what it was like to not have Beth in my life. I can remember in my head, but not really with my heart very well. I'm just so comfortable with her that it's hard to go back before she came into my life.
So on Tuesday we went to eat at KEO, which is a really great Asian restaurant. We had a window seat which was pretty cool & I dove into some red curry that was fantastic. We then went to the PAC and saw Annie - the broadway show. It was a good time. Annie, the movie, is one of Beth's all-time favorites. It was fun because there were so many kids there.
And yes we did sit on booster seats. Some of you have already been making fun of us. Our seats were on the first row of the balcony & the rail was right in our way. We noticed other adults had these booster seats, so I walked back & an usher gave me a couple. I took them back & Beth plopped onto hers & said it was great. I had a little bit more trouble. I just couldn't get very comfortable. We have tickets to go watch Phantom in June, and I think I'll just take a coat to sit on.
As a side note, we saw the mom & daughter whom our church helped build a Habitat House for this past Fall. It was great to catch-up with them. God has provided some great things in their lives, and they are a big blessing to us.
