March Madness!
While I don't get as excited as I did in High School, I still love the tournament. There is so much passion, excitement, nervousness, energy & emotion. It's great.

My favorite weekend is actually not Final Four weekend. It's opening weekend. I like when they are switching back in forth from game to game. I like when every team begins the weekend with a dream. I like when some team that I've never heard of is taking some powerhouse down to the wire. Ah, it's great.

Back in my days of school, I discovered a little janitor's closet that had an old TV & antenna. From then on, I spent Thursday & Friday afternoons of the tourney in the closet watching the games. (I mean, running errands for Student Council - being the Pres. has it's advantages.) I only let one or two close & very trusted friends in on my little secret. We couldn't afford having our cover blown.
Meanwhile, my Mom was at home faithfully filling in the results in her bracket. It was funny, because she started out doing that for me, but ended up pretty interested in the whole thing.

Well, I need to get to filling out a bracket before it's too late. I was really pulling for ORU since I've seen them play this year & one of my good friends is a cheerleader there, but they drew Pitt in the first round. I think Pitt is incredible. I may have to go with them.
