Youth Sports.
Cole is playing Tee Ball this year. He is so excited that he can hardly stand it. We've had lots of talks with him about why we are allowing him to do this:
-Him having fun is great, but it's not the prime reason.
-Him learning the game is great, but it's not the prime reason.
The main reason is that we'll have a chance to demonstrate God's love to people. We are going to look for opportunities to encourage and love people.
Beth and I want to be really intentional in establishing the reasons we do things. We want our kids to know that they are loved & will have places to play - but that they are not the center of the universe. It's not ultimately about them.
We'll keep you posted on how we do - and of coarse how Cole is doing.
