Organized Disorganization: Ode to Post-Its

I have organized disorganization down to a science.

I use post-it notes for nearly everything. For those who frequent my office, they are aware of my Pepto-Bismol pink post-its, organized either in a completely straight in front of my keyboard OR strewn all over my desk where ever "empty space" can be found. These notes are gold. They hold the power of time. My time. They inform me of my tasks from here until September and beyond. As I receive rare phone calls from my boss (who is rarely in the country, let alone the office) with an entirely new list of tasks, I scramble to find something to write on to catch every new urgent item that must be done. Ah, my post-its, they never fail me. (Unless, of course, I lose them.) If it weren't for these slightly adhesive colorful little paper squares, I would be completely disoriented; I would be lost in the chaotic world that surrounds a "project manager" without the knowledge of past, present, and future projects nor the ability to "manage" said projects.
