Rob is not about to write in the third person. . .
I guess the top level general description of me is that I'm a 20 year old nerd that enjoys going to college. I attend Grand Valley State University. I was a Double major in Spanish and Philosophy, but then I realized all the cool courses for philosophy were in the minor and to get a major you have to take some dull-sounding ones. I'm now a Spanish major and double minor (yes, I picked up another) of philosophy and history.
I suppose I plan on being a high school teacher. It sounds enjoyable, but now that I am a mac user and have always dreamed of seeing the world, I am doubting my decision. It's a shame that teachers get paid crap. What would every person be without a teacher? What would sick people be without doctors? There are more "every person" than there are sick people and yet look how much they pay the doctors. haha...
Anyway, I am thinking about law school. It's sort of interesting, but I am expecting that in practice it is very boring. Too bad none of the interesting stuff like philosophy, good literature, history, or foreign languages are very useful.
Well that's sort of a brief on what I'm doing right now. It doesn't really describe me. Sorry. Feel free to get to know me though. If you're curous about my other interests, check out my website.
As I once told someone: "I can't think of what I do when I'm not in front of my mac aside from eating and attending class." I'm a lazy nerd - unless you count brain activity. Just as a person may be obsessed with a sport, imagine encountering a device that never ceases to hold your attention and imparts almost no limit on your creativity. I'm a mac 'fanboy' now, but just to explain myself to others: I was a windows user my whole life, built my own tower and never used a mac OS until October of 2006. More than a decade of Windows experience weighs like a feather against the enjoyment that is Mac. :) Okay, I'm done. Don't vomit.
