About
Brooke Miller is 25, from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and an accomplished guitarist and songwriter. Brooke plays custom-designed Michael Greenfield guitars, the same luthier for Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, Don Alder, Charlie Hunter, and select others.
You Can See Everything is Brooke's first official album release on an international basis, and it's the first release ever, digitally-speaking, for Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
Brooke is signed to Sony/ATV for publishing, signed personally by company US president Danny Strick. Danny is the one who has introduced the Hickory Records label under Sony/ATV ownership, which began with the release of the debut album from American Idol's Elliott Yamin and the star-studded soundtrack to the critically-acclaimed film by Ethan Hawke, The Hottest State.
You Can See Everything was co-produced by Peter Lubin (Everly Brothers, Martin Briley) and mixed by Frank Filipetti (James Taylor, Carly Simon), and mastered by Jeff Lipton (Wilco, Soul Asylum, Roky Erickson).
Brooke is married to internationally acclaimed Canadian guitarist Don Ross, who plays all of the leads on this album, as well as lap-steel, pedal steel, cherango and dobro.
Brooke is the proud recipient of the distinguished 2007 Songwriter of the Year award from the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals, which is part of the Ontario Arts Council.
