The Preemptive Love Coalition is an organization; and a movement; and a charity; and a megaphone.
We sell fabulous footwear from the Kurds of Northern Iraq and use all the profits from said fabulous footwear and terrific track shirts to pay for Iraqi children suffering from heart conditions to receive life-saving heart surgeries outside the country.
We are a few Americans living in Iraq. No ammo. No guns. Just armed with love and the profits from your purchases, we give away what we call "preemptive love."
When we are in the US we travel around from high schools to churches to universities to civic organizations in an attempt to raise an awareness for human rights issues in Iraq. We are not content with blythe optimism about the goings on of the "conflict," nor are we going to settle for mere verbal criticisms. We are going to get involved.
And we want you to join us.
Read through the blog, talk to some of our friends, and visit www.preemptivelove.org to act and get involved!
