I frequent Subway a lot.
Gotta love the home of the Five….Five dollar….Five dollar foot long.
Now, finding the perfect sandwich artist is pretty tough. Sometimes they put too much mustard on, or too many peppers, or not enough pickle.
But today, November 5, 2009, I ate the perfect 6 inch sandwich.
Kudos, Subway. Kudos.
Well my boys, the New York Yankees won the World Series last night.
Who’s tired?
*Becky raises her hand.
I’m tired today – but it was cool to see it, and hear the city irrupt with glee around midnight.
Way to go Yankees, way to go.
Things that are new with me:
1) I have a nasty cut on my left index finger.
2) I got a flu shot on Tuesday.
3) I’ve had a headache all week.
4) I’ve been busy all week. I haven’t even been home.
5) I ate Coco Crispies for breakfast – for maybe the first time in 15 years today. I love chocolate milk, however – milk does not love me.
As I strolled through Duane Reade this morning I noticed an abundance of holiday “stuff” plastered throughout the aisles. Yes, it is time. It’s time to embrace the holidays. Break out the gift wrap and the Amy Grant’s original Christmas CD, get your egg nog on, and ugly snowman sweater out of the back of the closet. Here we are holiday season 2009.
::seg way::
I am doing a service Project for Operation Christmas Child. If you’re interested in knowing more about this project, check out the right side of the page. I think it is a great reminder of what Christmas is about. I want to make this season and this next year not about me but about others.
And I think this is a nice place to start.
With that, I’ll step off of my soap box and resume my normal position.
I hope you are well.

B
