About
Cacophonics is a four piece Latvian punk band formed on November 2002. Bands music is influenced by such bands as NOFX, Green Day, Blink 182 and mixed together with a socially active lyrics.
During the years Cacophonics has become well known in the local underground rock music scene, Several songs have been included in several internatonal punkrock music compilations and have had good success in leading Latvian radio stations charts.
The band has played over 200 gigs, including performances in the central Latvian summer rock festivals and several gigs in Lithuania and Estonia as well.
On 2006 band released their debut EP "Punkology".
Now after two years and a bit more silent period due to the change of the drummer and other different reasons Cacophonics is working at new material which you will hear soon.
