Hello

My name is Caleb

I love a lot of things

I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil

I play piano and sing a bit and I record music by myself and also with my friend Geena (on my friends list there are links to both music - Rain Theory for my own electronic stuff and These Cages for my collaboration with Geena)

I love anything Benjamin Gibbard is involved with, including but not limited to: Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, &c.

I also love anything Jimmy Tamborello is involved with, including but not limited to: The Postal Service, Dntel, Figurine, &c.

And I love these songwriters: Christopher Walla, Sufjan Stevens, Conor Oberst, Colin Meloy, Bob Dylan, Sam Beam, & many others

I love to tell stories, like about my childhood and the sad moments I had (more like silly sad, but sad nonetheless)

I love Annie's White Cheddar Bunnies, as well as Annie's Pasta

I believe in God, but don't always agree with many Christians and their beliefs, and I'm super open and happy to being exposed to the many religions and faiths (or the absence of) that this incredibly diverse world has to offer

I have tried to write my own songs, but I always fail

I have a dozen or so FullBleed t-shirts, because Rob Dobi is a genius (check out his work at fullbleed.org)

According to Your Scene Sucks Dot Com (also by Rob Dobi) I look most like the Prehistoric Emo (both in dress and appearance), though I'd personally have to say that my music and lifestyle doesn't match up with any of the scenesters (check it out at yourscenesucks.com)

I don't do drugs, because the thought of slowly killing my body is not a pleasant one

I listen better than I speak

I appreciate the handwritten letter

"Honestly? The only thing that gives me comfort, you guys, is while I'm sitting at home, staring at the ceiling, just wishing that I had someone to talk to, is knowing that none of you idiots realize how lucky you are!" - JD (Scrubs)

"Everything is the same, the fog says 'We are fog and we fly by dissolving like ephemera,' and the leaves say 'We are leaves and we jiggle in the wind, that's all, we come and go, grow and fall' -- Even the paper bags in my garbage pit say 'We are mantransformed paper bags made out of wood pulp, we are kinda proud of being paper bags as long as that will be possible, but we'll be mush again with our sisters the leaves come rainy season' -- The tree stumps say 'We are tree stumps torn out of the ground by men, sometimes by the wind, we have big tendrils full of earth that drink out of the earth' -- Men say 'We are men, we pull out tree stumps, we make paper bags, we think wise thoughts, we make lunch, we look around, we make a great effort to realise everything is the same.'" - Jack Kerouac (Big Sur)

All of this equals me
