Most of our parents, being fourth generation carnies, stuck with their old traditions after the slow decline of the old-fashioned carnivals in the late 1960s. But they tired of the humdrum life of the ordinary carnie... stealing horses' hooves to sell to the glue plant, etc... We were born on the fruits of their labors, living off the small patch of forest purchased from Glady's uncle, financed primarily by the glue money. In this remote corner of the Stanislaus Forest on the shores of Lake Clovenhoof, Camp Clovenhoof operates uninterrupted, producing beats and rhymes as refined as the glue that provides their livelihoof. (livelihood -ed.) A complete history of this region can be found at campclovenhoof.com.
