My God. I'm up to four blogs and counting. How unnecessary. How fantastic.

Now, one might think that this would be a simple matter of copy and paste betwixt them all. And that, my friends, would be precisely where one is totally and utterly wrong.

Six years of blogging has taught me a thing or two about the blogging community. Blogs, I have learned, must be acutely tweaked, chiseled, and perfected for the audience toward whom they are geared. The livejournal audience loves personal drama of a sophomoric nature. Myspace readers love sex. And I'm thinking Virb users probably go for some sortof artistic depth. Such that includes frequent mention of various forms of code. I could be wrong. These are mere generalizations, after all. We'll see.

Today, I began searching for a really delicious guilty please television show. I... *thinks for a moment about whether or not this is worth admitting to a band of strangers... decides, what the heck* ... I DVRed both One Tree Hill and The O.C. Neither of these shows I have ever submitted myself to nor am I particularly proud that I've now done it. But, one viewing of each has propelled me to favor one over the other. The O.C. wins by a longshot. Also, I am attracted to Adam Brody. Oy. Tis a sad day in history when Candace comes clean about her summer television viewing antics. Even sadder when she takes to talking in third person.

Bottom line, I adore romance on film. I adore romance in song. I adore romance anywhere but in life. Particularly mine. This probably has something to do with the fact that my track record in the department of love is, well, smudged to say the least. The very least.

I guess sometimes I wonder how much longer I'm going to write dear diary's about love. And dote on love. And lose sleep over the vicious cycle of "where is he" and "who is he" and "when will he get here" ruminations.

But, that's the beauty of it, right? Ignorance will always be bliss.
