The Carolina Cup Racing Association is excited to have its premier steeplechase events combine with McDonald’s to bring enhanced and fun filled activities to horse racing fans and families in the Southeast.

George Sensor, owner/operator of several local McDonald’s stores said, “This is a unique opportunity for McDonald’s to participate in an event that appeals to children and their parents in a family atmosphere. There’s noting quite like an exciting horse race and we are very pleased to be able to offer the added attraction of activities for children. It is what McDonald’s is all about.”

The 1970 inaugural Marion DuPont Scott Colonial Cup, was the first six-figure steeplechase race run in the United States and at that time, the richest steeplechase in the world. “The Marion du Pont Scott Colonial Cup is one of the most important race-meetings on the national steeplechase circuit, and we are honored to have McDonald’s participation at our event. The enhancement of our McDonald’s Play Place Infield Activities will add value to our event by offering spectators a better overall experience to an already wonderful day spent in the South Carolina countryside. ”, says Wendy Kingsley, Director of Marketing for the Carolina Cup Racing Association.
