An eclectic person by nature - and a Gemini to boot. Always learning, always willing to teach. I'm a history buff and genealogist. A photographer and a mom to Brittany. A demographer/cartographer and a person owned by Muffin, a border collie/husky mix and three kitties, Jackson, Skipper, and Addison.
I love taking off on an early Saturday morning - taking roads I don't know exactly where they go and stopping along the roadside to snap pics of cool and unusual finds as well as the beauty of our surroundings. I never have to go very far from my home in the Upstate of South Carolina before I fill up two or three gigs of memory in my camera.

Balloon Glow: Just playing with Photoshop tonight. The balloon glow disappointed me a bit. So I decided to dress it up. I do believe this is my first photo manipulation in my Flickr stream.
