Dave played the whole record for me, and did a beautiful duet with me, Dat Dere. He had played it before with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Timmons" target="_blank">Bobby Timmons</a> - the piano player from Art Blakey's band who wrote it.

Dave received the Order of Canada this year. No one deserves it more.

On the left - Dennis Patterson, co-producer and engineer. Wow - he is so great. And the arrangements on the record came from the mind of a true genius: John Sherwood on the right. A gorgeous player and arranger - he makes the tracks sing themselves.
