So a couple of night ago I was talking to a friend of mine and she was talking about the fear that some of us have: Our little ones growing up and dating. For those of you that may not know, I am a Godfather, so this concerns me too. While it's true I don't want my Goddaughter to ever grow up, she will. This friend of mine has a daughter and is waiting for the day to bring out that baseball bat on a future boyfriend. She however has not seen very many movies. Sinful, I know. But I was reminded of a scene for a movie that provides really great parenting advice. It also shows something that many parents and Godparents look forward to doing one day. It's a great example of how to deal with your daughters first date:
