Biography:
Ali recently merged into the world of DJ'ing and electronic music. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Ali's early musical experiences were tied with instruments such as the Trumpet, Classical Guitar & Piano. However, During the late 90's Ali was drawn into the rush of talented electronic music. The dance scene within U.K was on an explosive level.
He has played with a range of local talents and international DJs including Mark Kinnier (Futura, LCS), Marc Kirkbride (Protocol, Perpetual), Gareth Hogan & Terry Keely (http://www.shine.net), DJ Oxid, Alex Kunnari, Defa (Pinky), Sasha F, Steven Hoaks (Solstice), Progression (Tranceparance, LCS), Zwek (Ambrosia, Sunrise) and Fine (Solstice, Players Club) to name a few!
The influence of clubs like Shine (N.Irelands pearl for dance music, www.shine.net) veered Ali towards the purchase of turntables during the millenium. It is now hard to believe that Ali has only played for just over 4 years! The influential combination of his musical ear and awareness of depth in a tune has made his style different yet more intimate within his sets.
His musical roots still lie within modern classical composures, yet this has fuelled his inteligence within the mix. There is an element of rough with the smooth which is evident in the style he plays. From Chilled to Deep Techy Progressive through to tough Drivin' down 'n' dirty Techno. His set says it all. A man for all seasons.
Back in Belfast Ali has also tasted club promotion. As part of a team of up-and coming DJ's, Ali began a fresh club night "Yum Yum" in Northern Ireland's capital. Since his move to Helsinki one year ago, Ali continues from strength to strength playing in many Finnish night spots.
Currently on DJing Sabbatical for 2 more months........Expect to see more in the coming months...
