Remember that? Yeah, we've been there. Except we're the kids who didn't care what it was supposed to be. We made it blue because that was how we wanted it to be. That is how we saw it.
A blue duck. And we saw nothing wrong with that.
Guess some things never change...
There is a very simple formula to what we do and how we do it. There is no secret. We consistently try to figure out what hasnt been done yet and we do it. We dont want to do whats already been done. We have no interest in capitalizing on something proven. We're after the something that will make you wonder why it hasnt been done before. We're not the "because that's how it is" type.
There's a reason we all don't live in the same zip code. It's for the reason that you can travel anywhere and get inspiration from where you've been. Our experiences make us who we are. One of us might see a blue duck, while another might see a red duck. And that's perfectly okay with us. In fact, it's exactly what we want.
For us, the world is so much more fun when you don't accept the colors you're given. We have the most fun wondering what something could be, instead of accepting what it is. Every design we do normally comes with over twenty versions. On the small scale. Some might think picking colors is the easy part. For us, it's the part we put off until the end. It's hard. Who's to say how orange is too orange? Or how light the green should be? Or how dark? Or if it should even be green anyway.
So if we can show you one thing, it is to not accept something as it is, but to develop your own interpretation of it. Because after all, we won't be the ones to tell you the duck is yellow.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
