Music is a precious, precious thing. Not only that - it's personal. After painstakingly slaving over new lyrics and catchy tunes, one may cringe at the idea of somebody altering their new baby. Not so for Stars, the indie rockers from Toronto, as they have allowed a number of bands to remix and cover songs off of Set Yourself on Fire, their 2005 breakthrough record. The re-invented songs will appear on Do You Trust Your Friends?, set for release May 22nd on Arts & Crafts, featuring remixes from very talented cats Final Fantasy, Montag, The Russian Futurists, along with fellow Broken Social Sceners The Dears, Metric, and Apostle of Hustle, to name a few.
