I was in the bank today and spoke with a woman in line. She told me that years ago she lived in an apartment on 40th Street. She was pregnant, down and out. Some people from a church stopped and talked to her. A few days later they brought her food. She was sad, depressed, and lonely. These people ministered to her in way she had never experienced. Her spirits were lifted and for the first time she truly began to know God and began her walk with Christ. She said she saw and experienced Christianity through these wonderful people at this church. I asked her what church these people were from and her answer only confirmed my belief that Central Wesleyan is a church that ministers to a community of believers and non-believers alike. Reaching out, as was done in this case, brought an entire family to know and love Christ. You are all awesome! I am so proud and humbled to worship with you. May God continue to bless you all as you continue to bless others in the church and the community. I thank God everyday for the opportunity to worship with you and grow in my walk with the Lord. From the depths of my heart, thank you!
