Smashing Feeds is great because: there is no log in required; each blog source has been hand selected, eliminating junk; feeds are displayed quickly; by default only a headline & a few sentences are displayed to save you time; you can hide & show certain feeds with just a click; and you can arrange the feeds however you like.

I think Smashing Feeds can really come in handy for anyone wanting a quick overview of what's going on without having to clog up their RSS readers with hundreds of posts a day. You can just click on the things you're interested in & keep it moving. Plus it's extremely easy to use as well as easy on the eyes with a simple design.
